As the first organization ever to formally become an MCP (Marine Connectivity Platform) Identity Services Provider, endorsed by MCC, Navelink has now taken an important step in being recognized as an accepted provider of the MCP Identity Services. The endorsement includes both assessment of the technical interoperability as well as the procedures applied at Navelink, such as the vetting procedures for enrolling new organizations and was approved the 17th of May 2022.

The next step for Navelink is to get the Navelink Service Registry endorsed as an MCP Service Registry and to continue the well-functioning collaboration with MCC.

– This is a significant milestone for MCP, since Navelink is the first organization to become endorsed by the MCP consortium, says Thomas Christensen, Secretary General for Maritime Connectivity Platform Consortium, MCC.

– Good news! We are glad to have achieved this endorsement and the continued collaboration for the future, says Anders Wendel, Head of Navelink.
